Indeed  . . . very well looked up Nick.

I'll have a bit more of a read later. Elec-tronics have always been a  
worry to me. Elec-tricks - with wires, bulbs and motors - I could just  
about get along with, but when they discovered those 3-legged  
transistor things and pcbs the whole subject got hazy. I believe that  
technology may have advanced even further.

Quite frankly any engineering which you can't fix by hitting something  
with a spanner is anathema to me.
