Good point - the Chief Exec of the John Lewis Partnership (which I guess is a co-op rather than a mutual) is paid a much lower salary than his peers in the other big retailers, because JLP has a rule that the highest salary paid to a partner/employee may be no more than 75 times than that paid to the lowest.
