...and whilst the young Naylor chappie was up to his arms in the
delightfully scented Chesterfield Canal water, some of us were doing
proper work shifting timber around for Python's decking / staging. I
don't know who got the best of the deal.

I suppose it's a good job (for me) I wasn't in Retford otherwise, as
the youngest on the crew, I would have felt obliged to go down into
the murky depths myself.
