Thanks to everyone who gave me info on pubs etc. on the Oxford canal. We had a great trip and lovely weather. We had meals at the Rock of Gibraltar, The Grand Union at Banbury, and the Plough at Wolvercote, all were very good. To counteract that we ate at the Barley Mow Upper Heyford, where I had one of the worse meals I can ever remember, there was no welcoming atmosphere, and no comment on the fact that most of the food was left on our plates!
