Interesting comment from the BW Manager

Those who have been watching the preparation of the Barge Canal for reopening
will note the dredging that has been taking place. The 'muck' in areas that I
saw being dredged, has been taken by hopper to the dump site by canal/tug
through any locks that have needed to be used. Locks need water and where has
the feed been coming from - the River Salwarpe. When visiting Droitwich earlier
in the year, the 'feed' was being supplied through the lock with both paddles
fully raised

Curcumstances do change during a project and think we would all be disappointed
if there was no plan in place for an effective water supply for what ever state
of opening is required
