An interesting thought - but mine has the convex side facing downwards  ..

Looking at the angles involved, it had to be the evening sun as the 
plastic drawers unit is fitted fairly high on the fwd bulkhead and 'Wyrd 
was facing eastwards at the time.

When I see the sun shining again I'll have a play around with it in 
order to see where the focal points end up as the sun moves across the 
sky (OK - pedants please take note that I *do* know that the sun itself 
doesn't actually move, relative to the boat that is .... it is the 
*earth* that moves - or used to when I was a lot younger <g>)
