The LCD hours counter on my nice new boat has failed to appear on  
start up a couple of times in the last few days, only coming on after  
the engine's been running for a few minutes.

It's a fairly bog standard looking Faria rev counter; I've got a vague  
memory of there having been some chat on one of the forums  a while  
ago about a duff batch of rev counters giving this problem.

Anyone else recall it? At least, since the boat's under warranty, I  
shouldn't have any trouble getting Peter Mason to replace it!
