Its a real shame its a lovely basin. Its nearly a year since we were
there, we left the boat there for a week but it is only 48hr mooring
which I can understand if it was busy. What actually needs sorting out
is the pinch point at the Hollybush, where they have built a new woodern
towpath under the railway bridge and got the alignment well wrong. I
typical case of BW shooting them selves in the foot. I bet it has still
not been fixed even though they had to come and tow use through last
time, in both directions.
The tunnel is the tunnel if we get to Uttoxeter then its may be worth
while sorting it out otherwise we live with it.
