The pinch point (at the Black Lion not the Holly Bush, though they're both good pubs!) was sorted a few weeks ago and I can confirm having done it both ways that it is not now a problem. > The tunnel is the tunnel if we get to Uttoxeter then its may be worth > while sorting it out otherwise we live with it. This is the big question. I think from what I've read today people are not using the basin because they see no reason to moor in Froghall overnight, even if they have gone through the tunnel OK. Have to admit this hadn't really occurred to me as I know there are several interesting things about the area. It sounds like even if the tunnel wasn't there, we would still have lots of people who didn't visit the basin. We need to work on our tourism strategy! Thanks everyone :) Steve
