You can probably get away with skipping the "oh aren't we awesome" bit at the beginning, but there are some interesting workflows described later in the video:
http://asana.wistia.com/medias/1mxnk374f3 - You can hit '@' in the description or comment fields to pull in someone's name or any item in Asana (projects, tasks, etc). - You can make 'reminder' tasks by setting a due date of when you want to be reminded, then moving it to the Later section. It will resurface in your regular tasks on the due date. - It's possible to easily duplicate projects. So for instance, we could set up a project for "TEMPLATE: New CI engineer tasks". When someone joins, they can duplicate it to "Bob Bobbertson: New CI engineer tasks", then go through and tick off the items one-by-one. - One really clever idea they had is to create a "Product Opportunities" project. They encourage anyone on the team to add in over time any ideas they have to make the product more successful. Other team members can then come in and heart their favourite ideas. You can then sort by hearts and see what the team thinks best product opportunities are. - Through the advanced search it's really easy to generate reports like, "What are all the tasks completed by Bob, Jane, and Brian in the past 30 days." He positioned it as a good way to stop, reflect, and celebrate progress. -- Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~canonical-ci-engineering Post to : [email protected] Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~canonical-ci-engineering More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
