Heads up. I've asked Vincent to find out the hostname for the new nvidia machine and then set up the Otto node.
---------- Forwarded message ---------- From: Larry Works <[email protected]> Date: 19 November 2013 02:36 Subject: Status for November 18th To: Evan Dandrea <[email protected]> - Spent a good portion of it trying to track down why the outbound/inbound network connection was/is so slow; we still don't have the cause identified but I am relatively certain it it on our side of the link. - Worked with Brad to make sure (most) of the kernel test machines we up and operational. We have one machine that cannot be seen on the network or be see from the network. We will replace the patch cable for it tomorrow morning. - Have designated a machine to replace dx-autopilot-nvidia; it has the base OS on it but probably needs Didier to go over it to make sure it has everything he needs before adding it q-jenkins as a slave node. - Worked with Diogo to make sure the MaaS stack was accessible and that he had the information he needed to perform his testing. - Had to disconnect the iSCSI luns from s-jenkins and q-jenkins servers (which necessitated bringing down the jenkins instances) to remap/remount them after the network interface(s) on the switch for the storage server were disabled. Went ahead and updated jenkins plugins while the jenkins services were down. They are back in an operational state. - Started working on setting up the Nagios server but other events consumed too much of my time for me to make much progress there. - Rick picked up the Armada from Lex, a few additional components from the desktop cases, and the other kernel team server and delivered them to 1SS. not sure if he got the Armada set up but, if he didn't, that should be able to happen first thing on Tuesday. For tomorrow, Rick and I will continue to see if we can track down the cause of the network slowness. I will complete whatever work Didier needs of me on dx-autopilot-nvidia and get that added to the pool. I will also work on the finishing up the kernel team hardware for Brad and continue on the Nagios server some more time permitting. ~w -- Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~canonical-ci-engineering Post to : [email protected] Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~canonical-ci-engineering More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
