All, In an attempt to resolve to issue with the slowness of the outbound connection from the CI/QA lab we need to make a couple of configuration changes to the Cisco network stack within the lab. To apply one of these changes will require a restart on the Cisco stack which will drop all network connection within the lab. We plan to start at approximately 2100UTC (1600EST) and the work should take less than an hour.
For most systems this will not cause any problems but there are a few that it will affect significantly. The systems that will be greatly affected are: s-jenkins and q-jenkins. These systems will need to have their jenkins instances shutdown and their iSCSI mounts unmounted before we take the network down. The systems that will be affected in a minor way are: the machine formerly known as magners-orchestra, genie, kinnara and d-jenkins. These systems will just need to have a network share unmounted before we take the network down.
