Howdy folks, Vincent has been wanting to sync up with Martin Packman on the Juju Core team for some time now. We finally got approval for this, and the two of them, Siva, and myself will be meeting in Bluefin on the 17th - 19th of December for a Juju bootstrapping mini-sprint.
The general agenda thus far is: - How do we write good tests for charms? - How do we write integration tests with juju-deployer and the CI environment? - Best practices about Juju (behaviour patterns, envs, most commonly encountered errors, failing/disappearing components)? - Review the planned CI airline architecture, what are the potential issues? Where should/can we scale horizontally? - Refresh the relationship with Marin for future juju discussions or support. - Get an intense juju course from Martin. - Bootstrap charm testing practice. Are there additional topics you would like to see covered? I'm keen on you guys staying focused on the Intel work, otherwise I'd open this to a Hangout for the UK hours those days. That said, you should see this as an opportunity for us to research some longstanding questions you have around Juju and bring that back to the rest of the team at the end of the sprint. So if you have topics you'd like to see explored, please let us know by the end of this week.
