I think Leo forgot adding the CI team to the recipients list :) ---------- Forwarded message ---------- From: Leo Arias <[email protected]> Date: Thu, Mar 12, 2015 at 3:22 PM Subject: summary of today's meetings with CI To: QA Team Mailing List <[email protected]>
Hello, We had three meetings today to talk about cards related to us in the CI backlog. I will give you a really quick summary, so feel free to ping me or ci for more details. - Run tests with mir. Currently we are only running the tests using mir in the phone. We would like to run them in virtual hosts too. The quickest solution for now is to use a kvm as explained in here: unity.ubuntu.com/mir/setup_kvm_for_mir.html We still want a full mir virtual frame buffer, but we need to discuss the priority for it as there are other options. A related problem is not being able to use url-dispatcher without mir. We also need to discuss how badly we want to test in this scenario. - Run the sanity tests in the lab. Jibel's main priority here is to get the tests running when there are new proposed images. The requirements for this are in the trello card. - Run the upgrade tests in the lab. Here the main priority is to run the upgrade from image x every time a new image x+1 is build. We need to discuss more about details for provisioning and re-provisioning the devices, and who does what between ci, the suite and adt-run. We also talked about more complex scenarios that go beyond this sprint, so Julien and the foundations team need to discuss who will work on those scenarios. pura vida. -- ¡paz y baile! http://www.ubuntu.com -- qa-team mailing list [email protected] Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/qa-team -- Úrsula Junque Ubuntu CI Engineer [email protected] [email protected] [email protected] Ubuntu - "I am what I am because of who we all are."
