New question #704402 on Ubuntu-Certification: https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu-certification/+question/704402
Installing Ubuntu server on 20.04 and 22.04 not possible because of "Fake raid". https://ubuntu.com/certified/202007-28035/20.04%20LTS On that page it tells me it's certified but i get the message "No block device detected" during install. I tried 2 NVME drives to rule that out. lspci -vv 00:17.0 RAID bus controller: Intel Corporation 82801 Mobile SATA Controller [RAID mode] (rev 30) Subsystem: Acer Incorporated [ALI] 82801 Mobile SATA Controller [RAID mode] Control: I/O+ Mem+ BusMaster+ SpecCycle- MemWINV- VGASnoop- ParErr- Stepping- SERR- FastB2B- DisINTx- Status: Cap+ 66MHz+ UDF- FastB2B+ ParErr- DEVSEL=medium >TAbort- <TAbort- <MAbort- >SERR- <PERR- INTx- Latency: 0 Interrupt: pin A routed to IRQ 16 Region 0: Memory at 4fb90000 (32-bit, non-prefetchable) [size=32K] Region 1: Memory at 4fb99000 (32-bit, non-prefetchable) [size=256] Region 2: I/O ports at 4080 [size=8] Region 3: I/O ports at 4088 [size=4] Region 4: I/O ports at 4060 [size=32] Region 5: Memory at 4fb00000 (32-bit, non-prefetchable) [size=512K] Capabilities: [d0] MSI-X: Enable- Count=17 Masked- Vector table: BAR=0 offset=00000000 PBA: BAR=1 offset=00000000 Capabilities: [70] Power Management version 3 Flags: PMEClk- DSI- D1- D2- AuxCurrent=0mA PME(D0-,D1-,D2-,D3hot+,D3cold-) Status: D0 NoSoftRst+ PME-Enable- DSel=0 DScale=0 PME- Capabilities: [a8] SATA HBA v1.0 BAR4 Offset=00000004 Kernel driver in use: ahci Kernel modules: ahci dmesg | grep ahci [ 0.953566] ahci 0000:00:17.0: version 3.0 [ 0.953809] ahci 0000:00:17.0: Found 1 remapped NVMe devices.
