The option to select S3/Linux sleep has been removed (even if running system firmware 0.1.23) from the BIOS/UEFI configuration. As of such neither OS/kernel version this hardware was certified with nor Ubuntu 22.10 with the latest OEM kernel or kernel 6.2 is able to suspend and resume. I have been in contact with Lenovo support and they claim that they do not support Linux on this laptop.
