Binary package hint: modemmanager
After normal install of the beta 10.04 (iso, burn and live and real install)
there was no microphonesound in Skype.
I used info: "Remove pulseaudio and install alsa with no positive result.
1 How to reinstall pulseaudio
2 How to get Skype working properly (since 8.04 If I recall properly this has
been the problem) because that's the only disturbing reason for me to keep
using Windows (where Skype works OK).
The same problem arises in Linux Mint Helena.
Skype was install via download from the existing (on the website) deb
package.
