Hmmmmm, interesting. This seems like it could be a GPU related error,
can you please see if it occurs in the classic GNOME desktop with the
Nvidia binary blob temporarily removed and 3D acceleration
disabled(using the default fall-back Nouveau 2D-only drivers)?
Also, can you please run:
# update-pciids
And then post the results of?:
$ lspci
Does the problem occur constantly or just occasionally? And can you
please check to see if any of your components are suffering from
overheating?
