On my Ubuntu 10.04LTS BBC Iplayer was working OK until the last update to the
system a few days ago. Now BBC Iplayer opens but when trying to run a selected
programme produces no video or sound. Synaptic Package Manager shows last
updates were:

My laptop with the same Ubuntu 10.04LTS but without the latest update
still works OK on BBC Iplayer.
Is there a problem with the updates and can a further update fix it?
