My webcam was working well in previous releases of Ubuntu. It also worked well after installation of 12.04 and I could use it with skype for video chats, but It doesn't work after I installed VLC. When I open skype options to test the camera, the camera is recognized but when I click "test" all I get is a blank screen. - I tried uninstalling vlc from my system but the problem persists. + I tried uninstalling vlc from my system but the problem persists.
