Pardon for delay. I have never used tracing, so after a bit of googling and reading a couple of man pages, got "apport-retrace" tool installed from ubuntu software center.
Launched skype, tried to send the file, skype crashed, crash report generated in /var/crash, used "apport-retrace -o Skypetrace _usr_bin_skype.1000.crash" command. But there comes an error "apport-retrace -o Skypetrace _usr_bin_skype.1000.crash ERROR: report file does not contain one of the required fields: CoreDump DistroRelease Package ExecutablePath" Am I doing what you have asked....? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Canonical Partner Developers, which is subscribed to skype in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1069618 Title: Skype App crashes when sending files To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/skype/+bug/1069618/+subscriptions _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~canonical-partner-dev Post to : [email protected] Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~canonical-partner-dev More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
