You have been subscribed to a public bug: Hi! I am using Ubuntu 12.10 and it is not possible to log in to skype with my hotmail / live account [using skype installed from software-center (skype 4.1.0.20.0-0ubuntu0.12.04.1)]. I get this message: "Sometimes the internet gets a bit sleepy and takes a nap...." It is perfectly possilbe to log in using my skype account, but not hotmail / live account (so it is not a internet connection issue).
As far a this link says (http://community.skype.com/t5/Linux/Can-t-login-with-Microsoft-account-with-4-1-and-Ubuntu-12-10/td-p/1235208) is possible to log in (with hotmail / live account) from Ubuntu 12.04 but not from 12.10.
