Right, small update: Seems to only happen with the 11.2 version of the Flash plugin. I don't have this problem on Google Chrome, with the latest 11.5 version of Flash.
I also have this problem with different kinds of hardware. I wrote this report on my laptop, which has a AMD Mobility Radeon HD 4650 video card. But just recently I also installed Ubuntu on my desktop PC, which has an nVidia GeForce 9600 GT.
