Hi I confirm what you observed. I started a video with SMplayer and then paused it. I opened skype and started a video conversation and no more blue incoming video call. I could also see my mirror image fine. I could close SMplayer, while talking on skype and video was fine as well. If I try the reverse action (first start skype and then SMplayer with the video pause trick) doesn't work and the blue blinking video is there again why SMplayer is so important to traduce the incoming video in skype? how the 2 programs are related? any help?
