Chrome uses its own built-in Flash plugin, so it is not a good comparison in this case. I'd suggest trying the Midori browser (I can't remember, but you may have to manually enable Netscape plugins): https://launchpad.net/~midori/+archive/ppa?field.series_filter=precise
