You have been subscribed to a public bug: While upgrading centrifydc from version 4.4.3-464 to 5.1.0-497 on Ubuntu 12.04 64-bit the update fails and centrify no longer functions.
I found that while scripts in /usr/bin like adinfo have LD_LIBRARY_PATH configured to /usr/share/centrifydc/lib64 that the actual symlink was renamed to lib64.old. Recreating the lib64 symlink to point at lib fixes the issue and centrify works, however the update will still fail since it will break it again during the upgrade process. Output from the update command: The following packages will be upgraded: centrifydc 1 upgraded, 0 newly installed, 0 to remove and 3 not upgraded. 92 not fully installed or removed. Need to get 0 B/21.5 MB of archives. After this operation, 22.6 MB of additional disk space will be used.
