Public bug reported:
When starting a new call, the call will connect for around 2-8 seconds,
before the entire application quits. If the sound has connected at all
during that timespan, it will take the system sound with it, forcing a
mute (which can be undone).
However, it will also create a white noise on the speakers that is
unaffected by software (xfce4-mixer, pavucontrol, sound indicator menu)
changes in volume, but is affected by mutes. Other audio can be played
over the white noise, but the noise itself is irreversible until system
shutdown.
