Status in libfm-qt package in Ubuntu: Fix Released Bug description: reoccurence of issue report earlier in cycle ( https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/libfm-qt/+bug/1981938 ) The "Install Lubuntu 22.10" icon on the desktop includes a (!) over it; which ideally shouldn't be there. ** to re-create - boot kinetic ISO (Leokolb noticed this yesterday too) - click "Install Lubuntu 22.10" icon on desktop ** expected outcome calamares starts the install process ** actual outcome "Execute file" This file 'Install Lubuntu 22.10' seems to be a desktop entry. What do you want to do with it? Open Execute Cancel To have it work as expected, users are currently required to right- click icon & click the "Trust this executable" which is far from ideal. Yes we can document the workaround(s), but not great. note: Leokolb filed using older bug report that was "Fix Released". Short discussion online in #lubuntu-devel indicates this issue is in queue and should resolve itself soon (fingers crossed) ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 22.10 Package: lubuntu-desktop 22.10.3 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 5.19.0-19.19-generic 5.19.7 Uname: Linux 5.19.0-19-generic x86_64 ApportVersion: 2.23.1-0ubuntu2 Architecture: amd64 CasperMD5CheckResult: pass CasperVersion: 1.475 CurrentDesktop: LXQt Date: Wed Oct 12 01:24:10 2022 LiveMediaBuild: Lubuntu 22.10 "Kinetic Kudu" - Daily amd64 (20221011) SourcePackage: lubuntu-meta UpgradeStatus: No upgrade log present (probably fresh install) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/libfm-qt/+bug/1992537/+subscriptions -- Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~canonical-ubuntu-qa Post to : canonical-ubuntu-qa@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~canonical-ubuntu-qa More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
