I'm putting together a gem with the external Capistrano libraries and tasks that I use often. These include things like Josh Goebel's optimized cache_svn.rb replacement for the deploy task, an after_setup task to cache your svn password (interactively), and a task I wrote last night that builds Apache 2.2 from source and configures it for Mongrel.
I'd like to call it capistrano_power_tools. Jamis, do you have any objection to using the name "capistrano" in third-party gems like this? Or should I choose another name? And, if anyone has special tasks that they would like to include, or would like to be part of the project, send me an email. Geoffrey Grosenbach ................................
