Just a quick progress report...

I spent the weekend working on the new Capistrano web site. It's not  
done yet, so I won't announce anything, but it's coming along and I  
hope to have it "good enough" by tomorrow evening. (*crosses  
fingers*) I'm a programmer (and not a designer) for a reason, so  
don't expect anything visually stunning! I'll announce the first set  
of pre-release gems then, too.

I just want to make everyone aware that the upgrade process from cap1  
to cap2 may be bumpy for some folks. Note that cap2 may (very likely)  
break any third-party Capistrano extensions that you are using. It  
also has a good chance of breaking your existing recipes if you have  
done any overriding of the standard tasks.

There will be a few pages on the new site that will describe the  
upgrade process, and point out any gotchas.

That said, it's not all doom-and-gloom; cap2 really is worth the  
effort to upgrade, and the effort required is really not that much.
