It might be that the regex which Capistrano uses to recognize a sudo prompt is not matching the prompt your remote host is using, for some reason. If you want to dig in and see if you can figure out why that is, that'd be great. Otherwise, I'll try and get to it this week sometime, before I release cap2 final. I'm actually thinking I may do ONE MORE preview release, given the growing list of changes since the last preview... just to make sure.
