Hello again, I have been using the deploy strategies outside of the common tasks. I noticed that the Strategy would fail to deploy if the :logger configuration value was not specified.
It seems that the lazy loading of the logger sends STDOUT to the initializer and this causes problems. A Capfile which simulates this occurance is available at: http://pastie.caboo.se/73569 This is using the latest trunk version.
