Hi! > If anyone has experience withWindows+cygwin with cap, I'm all ears. > In the meantime I will begin experimenting.
I don't have this experience so far, but I'd be very glad to get some feedback. For one of my customers (using Asp.Net), I've heavily switched to rake for almost everything (packaging, deliveries, etc.) I'd be really interested to be able (even with large restrictions) to execute rake tasks remotely using capistrano in this context. I know there is a requirement of having a posix-compliant shell on the server. Are there other solutions than cygwin ? Would it be workable to have only partial support in case a posix- compliant shell is not available ? (thinking out loud) Any feedback will be most welcome. -- Thibaut --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ To unsubscribe from this group, send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] For more options, visit this group at http://groups.google.com/group/capistrano -~----------~----~----~----~------~----~------~--~---
