I'am new to capistrano and I decided to start with deprec and capistrano 1.4.
My Server runs Debian/Etch and I develop on MACOS X 10.4 and Textmate. I mate a successfull cap setup_ssh_keys, cap --apply-to ., cap setup_smc .... I can see the standard rails page and cap disable_web shows me the maintenance page. On my local machine there's a application_machine folder and capistrano told me to use it. So I have to do all changes by using mate application_machine? Do I need a local svn repository on my development machine? What to do when I made my changes with Textmate under application_machine? Could you please give me some advice?
