Net::SSH 2.0 will not work with Capistrano, yet. Or rather, Capistrano will not work with Net::SSH 2.0. When I asked what Net::SSH version you had installed, you said 1.1.2. Did you upgrade recently?
The "problem" is definitely that you are using Net::SSH 2.0. If you need to use Capistrano, please downgrade to the latest stable Net::SSH version. Once I catch up on some sleep and life gets back to normal (baby was born early early this morning!)
