Hi, I can get a basic production deployment working fine with mongrel_cluster and apache 2.2. I am struggling a little with my ultimate aim, which is to be able to deploy (and rollback!) first to a staging server to get client approval and then to deploy ideally, the same files, tar ball or whatever, to production. I'm just confused where to start with this.
Am I right in thinking that these need to be in separate name spaces? Can the same files be sent from staging to production without involving subversion, or should we be using svn branches or tags to ensure consistency? Sorry for the heap of questions.
