Sorry about that, the gemspec didn't have the has_rdoc flag set. I've committed that, so the next release will autogenerate the rdocs.

In the meantime, you should know that the rdocs won't really be meaningful to consumers of capistrano's command-line interface-- they're primarily useful only for developers who want to invoke Capistrano's API's within their own programs. I really do feel bad about the lack of documentation for using Capistrano, and it's on my list of things to do...but so are a million other things. :(

To answer your specific question, you can set a specific user for the SCM via the scm_username variable:

  set :scm_username, "bob"

Hi Jamis | all

Thanks for all your work on Capistrano 2.1. I'm new to cap, and trying
to learn how to set things like a different scm user. While the
tutorials on capify are an excellent start, I need more info. When
running gem_server locally, I don't get an rdoc link for capistrano.

Where can I find the rdocs | more official documentation?

Thanks, Nathan.
