[Capistrano] Re: SFTP Error with local copy

Does the /tmp directory exist on the remote server? Is it writable by the user you're logging in as? Are there any helpful messages in the syslog on the remote server? The OpenSSH SFTP implementation is awful when it comes to reporting errors. :(
