it seems to be be working now - I was talking about the svn password which I'd changed on the server - I wasn't too such how "cap" actually worked re passwords. Now I have the username set as part of the config (e.g. role :app, "[EMAIL PROTECTED]"), and the password seems to get asked for each time, so I assume (a) it doesn't cache username/ password and that (b) it uses the same username/password for (i) unix logic, (ii) svn. amd for (iii) sudo usage when it calls "spawner" via "spin".
Let me know if I'm wrong. thanks On Jul 7, 12:25 am, "David Masover" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > Cap doesn't, that I know of. > > Be specific -- which usernames/passwords are you talking about? SSH?
