Spam posts have been on the rise, lately. In an attempt to manage the growing flood, I've turned on message moderation for new users, which means that when you send your first post to the group, it won't get posted immediately. I'll need to manually okay all first posts. Once your first post is okayed, though, subsequent posts from you will go through directly, without needing moderation.
We'll give this a try and see how it goes. If I prove too much of a bottleneck, I may pick one or two other group members to act as moderators for the list.
