I wrote an article for deploying CodeIgniter projects using Capistrano (viewable here: http://heypanda.com/posts/6-Deploying-CodeIgniter-Projects-to-Dreamhost-Using-Capistrano) You can use the sucker for just about anything that you'd normally SSH in to a machine (or many machines) to do. Just... out of the box, the cooked-in recipes are Rails-centric. Override and define away. =)
