Hi, So this is just a PATH problem with Ubuntu, as a mac user I can't really help you. (And I suspect as a result of your confusion the whole linux thing might be new to you) - Ubuntu has a few good reasons for this, ultimately the answer is to sudo install the gems, unless you know better?
