Thanks for the response, that sounds like you should be backing up your SSH
host keys - or a massive security risk, whatever works for your organisation
though - Whilst if you are developing your own Kernel this might not be news
to you - but for anyone in a similar situation for any reason - here is some
old but still valid information from the BSD world about how to preserve ssh
host server keys between operating system changes.
