Rubybox, The only thing I can suggest short of "we don't support 3rd party deploy strategies" is - could you perhaps use a hardlink, it might behave more like you expect… also there's a lot of info from the group homepage I would need to help you ( for example handling of symlinks can vary greatly between OS and toolsets)
