Manuel, I stand corrected! If that works for you, in the meantime - I'm working on a new SSH driver to bypass a lot of these oddities that I can't find in Net::SSH - Github project is libssh.rb - you can follow along there, and/or try something similar with pure Net:SSH (Ruby) connecting directly to all 20 servers to run a command, and see if it behaves as expected.
