Hmmm, the main issue we have is that we need to know if a deploy failed as well as if it succeeded - we need to know "if it failed, why did it fail?"
I'll look into using the ENV stuff and see how far I get. I've created a new project on github for the notification framework, at somepoint over the next few days I'll start writing some actual code! :) Cheers, M.
