Lee, thanks for the reply. I realize they are unrelated but I was hoping 
that someone had crossed these same bridges while setting up their 
deployment configuration. I haven't gotten any responses when trying to ask 
questions on gem specific sites. I will take a look at the link you posted 
and continue troubleshooting.
