Debian or Fedora Core are fairly common and easy to use. You can get prebuilt VM images for them on vmware's site: http://www.vmware.com/vmtn/appliances/directory/cat/45 I like Debian because of the ease of getting updates- though I've heard Fedora's a lot better than it used to be. (Personally, I'm building/running the server natively, and only running the client OS in a VM.) cheers, Jamie -- Jamie Riden / [EMAIL PROTECTED] / [EMAIL PROTECTED] UK Honeynet Project: http://www.ukhoneynet.org/ _______________________________________________ Capture-HPC mailing list Capture-HPC@public.honeynet.org https://public.honeynet.org/mailman/listinfo/capture-hpc
