Hi Christian: I am not sure what do you mean by "run the guest as an administrator". My host OS is XP 64bit. I login host as an administrator. On the guest OS, I can manually right click "captureclient.exe" icon and choose "run as administrator" in the context menu. Or I can manually start a cmd shell with adminstrator privilege and run captureclient.exe.
But by using Capture Server, there is no option to run the captureclient.exe as administrator. I think it is a problem of VIX API. You cannot use VIX API to run some program under administrator privilege. A workaround is to write another normal TCP server(which requries administrator privelege) running on the guest and waiting the message from the host. After that server on the guest received message from Client Server, it can start Capture Client. Regards, Jiang
