Hi Mark, My preference is Linux but I may have to take the Windows route since all the issues I've been running into with Linux have produced more headaches than results. There are so many different Linux flavors and VMWare will only install on a small number of these without some patching. To date, I've tried installing capture on Ubuntu 7.10, 8.10, Fedora 8 and 9 and I have nothing to show for all the work I've done. I'm up for the challenge though.
I'm hoping I'll get this sorted today. Thanks again for your input. BTW. How are your rates of detect with Capture-HPC? I was running into too many false positives with low interaction client honeypots so I thought Capture would provide better results.
